On Boarding

Hi, nice to meet you! First things first, we would like to get to know who you are and why your business operates.  We like to know your online goals and future projects.  Sounds corny, but hey it works!  Going through our simple onboarding process allows us to really get to know the needs of the project.

We will provide an official proposal for each project.  This will outline the development process and provide you with a quote for work.  Once we receive a 50% deposit, that shows a commitment from you as well as a commitment from us to begin the development process.

As an organization, we act ethically. We treat all people with respect. We are open and transparent about the work we do and how we do it. The MD TECH TEAM woul like to participate in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of your future projects.

Time to pick out a layout

After we have completed the onboarding process and a deposit has been made, we can begin the hunt for the perfect layout.  

Airforce 1 is the most secure air plane in the sky, agree?  Did you know that before all the customizations it is just a standard 747.  We start our development the same way, we find an awesome base layout to use then we customize the crap out of it.  We modify it to meet your branding and functionality requirements.  This saves us time and you money by not having to individually design each page.  This also allows for easy maintenance and transfer requests.

Development and First Testing

Our development is done on our servers in our sandbox.  This is a specially configured server that does not get indexed.  Here we will build and begin to develop your website.  A link will be provided to you so that you can review changes that we have made at each milestone.

All content, in all formats must be provided to us so that we can begin to populate the layout.  Verbiage for each page along with any specific images you would like to use must be provided to us.  Any images that you don't have can be substituted by one of our stock photos which is included in your package.  Verbiage that is submitted must be the final version, so please review your content before submitting it.

Time to go live!

Once we have completed the final review of the development site and all has been approved, we then backup and move all the files to the production servers.  This process includes restoring the database, hardening the server configuration, encrypting the web traffic and creating or recreating any new mailboxes.

Once we have flipped the switch and pointed your domain name (your url) to the new servers you are now live!  We then provide 30 days of free support to make sure we found all of the bugs in development.  After the 30 days if you choose to purchase our maintenance plan (which I recommend) your website will get added to our auditing/monitoring software. This will keep an eye on your website and protect it from any malicious attacks as well as provide reporting and alerts for us.
